AIR ARCHITECTURE
Outward Bound Centre, Blaengarw, South Wales

A costed project for a major regeneration project in a former coal-mining town at the head of the beautiful Garw valley, the centre is intended as a museum of valley life, organic garden/cafe, residential log cabins, conference and outward bound centre.

Powered by a series of small turbines in valley streams, a wind turbine and photovoltaic glazed central roof, the complex is intended to be income-earning from its energy-generating capability.
