Bettis Meadow, Slade, Gower

The conversion of 4 linear barns which climb up a hill, the earliest of which possibly being a simple dwelling in the 18th century. Providing a flexible holiday let for up to 6 people, the conversion won the Gower Society Design Award in 2010 and the LABC Cymru Building Excellence Award- Highly Commended in 2011. Equipped with solar water panels, underfloor heating and ground source heat pumps, the building has a very low carbon footprint.
