House Conversion in West Gower

A house conversion in west Gower which was formerly 2 houses, joined together in an earlier period. Each house had it’s own stair; these were removed and replaced with a staircase as a focal point adjacent to the entrance. The epoxy-coated stair has natural welsh slate inserts and, in a gesture to materiality, the stair is bordered by the reclaimed external stone wall on one side and a 3.6 metre laminated and toughened glass screen internally.
